SEVENTEEN Announces the Release of Mini Album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” on October 23

SEVENTEEN, a popular South Korean boy band, will release their mini album on October 23. Release preparations have begun. The band recently posted a tantalising teaser for their reunion, which includes an animated concert ticket wristband and interesting statistics about their performance.

The teaser revealed the release date and SEVENTEEN’s new mini album’s title, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.” The album will be released at 4:00 PM (WIB) on October 23, 2023, so mark your calendars.

On Tuesday, September 19, @pledis_17 tweeted the news. The message said, “SEVENTEEN Mini Album 11th ‘SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN’ 23.10.23.”

The teaser has peaked fans’ interest, but the compact album’s tracklist and overall number of songs are yet unknown.

The Musical Journey of SEVENTEEN

This comeback follows SEVENTEEN’s 10th mini album, “FML,” released six months ago on April 24. A musical breakthrough, the eleventh mini album included six tracks and big singles “F*ck My Life” and “Super.”

One cannot overstate how much “FML” shaped K-pop music. It became the Korean album with the greatest lifetime sales total by selling over 6.2 million copies. The record-breaking achievement occurred on July 5, two months after the album was released on April 24.

This allowed SEVENTEEN to overtake BTS, who had held the number one slot with their album “Map of the Soul: 7,” which sold over 5.03 million copies in 2020. And then, SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop act to sell 6 million album copies, demonstrating the “FML” album’s extraordinary success.

In addition, “FML,” which included the number-one song on the charts with “Super,” was successful in accomplishing yet another significant objective. After selling more than 750,000 copies in Japan, the album awarded the triple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

The Multidimensional Struggles

SEVENTEEN has grown beyond music. They are now producing the hit programme “Youth Over Flowers,” with Na Young-seok, known as Na PD. After finishing their FOLLOW concert tour in Japan, the band began shooting their exciting new project.

SEVENTEEN’s participation in “Youth Over Flowers” confirmed directly by tvN authorities. However, the television network has not reveal the place or country where the SEVENTEENTH episode of “Youth Over Flowers.” filmed, keeping fans guessing.

After the success of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” SEVENTEEN is on their FOLLOW concert tour. And then, their next tour will begin in November in Japan with many gigs. SEVENTEEN also plans excursions to China, the Philippines, and Thailand.

The 2024 concert tour will also include more international stops. Finally, SEVENTEEN’s unwavering devotion to their work and the love of their fans worldwide ensure that their musical journey will continue to rise.
